History of the Owner
Recently graduating from UTEP, I had nowhere to start a job, mostly because the Covid-19 hit my hometown heavily, shutting down many businesses. As an option to start my own business, I first attempted to become a freelance writer, but since the pandemic hit the country hard, there was little opportunity for business. I then went to affiliate marketing until I got an idea, why not create my own business instead and that is how T.J. Jewelry and Gifts was born. It was originally known as Texas Jewelers, whose name now belongs as a parent company, but by selling items other than jewelry, a name change had to happen. It might have been strange selling collectibles next to jewelry, but it worked and this business actually saved me from being jobless, and taught me a lot of things down the line.
